Jelly


Jelly has a special place in Ukrainian cuisine. Different types of jelly is the best dessert for the potluck table. Jelly is prepared from various fruits, and therefore it can be any color. And if zishaty broidered jelly, get not only tasty but also very nice dessert.

You can make colored jelly layers. Go out and beautiful, and tasty.

 
Recipe Jelly with cherries

• Wash 1 kg. cherries, remove pits;
• Boil 1 liter. water, add 550 g. sugar;
• The hot syrup is filtered introduce 50 g. gelatin, soaked beforehand in a little water and stir to dissolve.
• Add 200 grams of white wine and a little tartaric acid.

Pancakes


You will need:

- 500 ml. milk;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil;
- 1 tablespoon sugar;
- 200 g. flour;
- 2 teaspoons ripper;
- Salt.

Рreparation:

1. Eggs knock down with sugar and salt.
2. Add oil and mix.
3. Add milk.
4. Add ripper and flour, whipped with a mixer.

  
5. Heat frying pan, grease with oil.

Stuffed cabbage


Stuffed cabbage - widely Ukrainian second course dish that is prepared from leaves of fresh or sour cabbage and filling of meat, rice. The name of this dish - old and originates from the word "dove".
 
Stuffed cabbage with meat in Ukrainian

Ingredients: 1 kg. beef - 1.2 kg. fresh cabbage, 4 tablespoons. tablespoons rice, 2 onions, 3 tbsp. tablespoons butter, salt, pepper - to taste. For the sauce: 1/2 cup sour cream, 2,5 cups beef broth, 1 tbsp. tablespoon wheat flour and butter.
Cooking: a head cabbage off the upper leaves, washed and stem cut out, put in salted boiling water and leave for 10-15 minutes. After the cabbage is taken out, cooled and stripped to separate leaves.

Meat is passed through a meat grinder, adding stewed rice, fried onion, pepper, salt, mixed thoroughly, placed on the prepared cabbage leaves roll their edges and a little rectangular shape.
 
The bottom of the pan spread cabbage leaves on top of stack tightly stuffed, put black pepper and bay leaves to taste, pour sour cream sauce, covered with leaves and ready.

Dumplings

One of the main Ukrainian dishes can call this dish as dumplings. Among the Slavic cuisines dumplings are very popular. Dumplings - one of the most specific of the Ukrainian national dishes.
Dumplings - (small rounded) products is wrapped in a variety of toppings. Ukrainian fillings for dumplings can be: cabbage, potatoes, bacon, cheese, cherry, strawberry, poppy, etc.. Ready dumplings served with sour cream or oil-fried onions. Dumplings with sweet fillings sprinkled with sugar and served with sour cream or honey.

3 cups flour;
¾ cup milk or water;
1 egg;
½ tsp salt.
Dumplings with cheese
For the filling - 800 g cheese, ½ cup sugar, 2 eggs, salt.

For the filling: 4 cups strawberries, ½ cup sugar.

Dumplings with poppy seeds
Ready dumplings served at the table with sugar or honey.
For the filling - 1 ½ cup poppy seeds, ½ cup sugar.

Salads in Ukrainian kiitchen


   The traditional Ukrainian cuisine salad can be called "Russian salad".
 
Salad "Vinaigrette" (recipe)

Ingredients:
2 medium beets boiled;
3 medium boiled potatoes;
3 boiled carrots;
150 g sauerkraut;
3-4 pickled or salted cucumbers;
1 salad onion;
salt to taste;
vegetable oil for refueling.
Vegetables cut into small cubes. If sauerkraut is too salty - wash it, give drain and cut into too.
Mix all ingredients dosolyuyemo to taste, fill vegetable oil, mixed, cooled and served.
